MYSO presents its ‘CARMEN’ spring concert on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 7:30pm at the St. Charles Borromeo Convocation Hall on the Romeoville campus of Lewis University.  The concert is free and open to the public, with donations accepted online and at the door.

The program will also feature Bizet’s Carmen Suites Nos. 1 and 2, showcasing unforgettable highlights from his 1875 opera Carmen. This beloved work follows the fiery and passionate gypsy Carmen, brought to life through iconic music that captures themes of fate, the swagger of the bullfighter Escamillo (the Toreador), and the tragic jealousy of Don José—all set against the vibrant backdrop of Spain.
